Tour Our Antwerp Airbnb

So imagine you give your Antwerp taxi driver your Airbnb address and here's where he drops you off. Then imagine he's dropping off you and your beloved husband and your octogenarian Dad. Hahahahahahaha! My Dad is a pretty conservative guy but he loves travel adventures. Not sure he was expecting this. After entering the secret garage door opening code we were happy to find the minimalist Belgian loft of our (budget) dreams. Here's a tour.

The host for this place is Erwin. He is a flight attendant who lives in the main house attached to this loft above his garage. Communication with Erwin was great. He was very responsive. The loft is within walking distance of the port area that has the MAS museum and a whole row of great restaurants. It is about a 15 minute walk to the Grote Markt and historic district (although, duh, it's all historic). I'd absolutely stay there again. In fact, we are already collecting ideas for when we can head back to Antwerp. Definitely need another visit to more fully explore this beautiful and super cool design destination. Come back to the blog here for some follow-up posts on our adventures.

PS. I realize I don't have a decent shot of the bathroom here — trust, it was lovely. Great shower!
