Amara Interior Blog Awards: Please Vote for The Design Edit!
So here I am on vacay with no wifi and unreliable network coverage and this happens! Some kind soul submitted The Design Edit to be among the 750 nominees for the Amara Interior Blog Awards. Woo. So I've hopped online to shout it out because I am depending on your votes to take this thing to the next level.
INTERIOR BLOG AWARDS 411
Here's the quick 411: Amara is a lovely UK-based online retailer of some of the top interiors brands in the world: Hay Denmark, Cole & Son, Marimekko, Ferm Living and Orla Kiely (shown above) are just some of my faves. For the last couple of years the marketing team at Amara has been sponsoring the Interior Blog Awards. It's not only legit (unlike some blog awards) but also kind of a big deal. Past winners have included Est Magazine, Dezeen, Mad About the House, Happy Interior Blog and Lobster & Swan, and this year's judges include Amara creative director Sam Hood, Farrow & Baller Charlotte Crosby (OMG, if I worked at F&B I would def call myself a Farrow & Baller), UK Homes & Gardens EIC Deborah Baker (whose job I want), and Justyna Sowa, principal and founder of Decorum Media (a luxury interiors marketing company I've been watching since launching my own freelance biz doing same).
WHY I NEED YOUR VOTE
Of all the 750 nominees, only those that garner the top 5 vote totals become short-listed in their categories. The Design Edit is in the Best International Interiors Blog category along with 29 others. And those others are kinda big time so I REALLY need some voting action. Pretty please! (Personally I'd like to see and All-Canadian Top 5).
