Hay x COS Stores
Two of my favourite design brands have joined forces and it's heaven. You can have your Balmain x H&M. Me, I'll take Hay x COS or COS x Hay any day. I've shopped COS in Frankfurt, Paris, New York and Toronto and the fact that the stores are furnished with Hay Denmark pieces has not escaped my notice. But then I stumbled upon news of this collab on the internets and it has my wanderlust in overdrive. Because, you see, none of this is available in Canada. One must make tracks for the London High Street Kensington, Vienna Neubaugasse or Gothenberg, Sweden COS stores. I'd happily jet to any of these to get my hands on some of this business. Or even just to see it, because in my new life of pared down and simplified, sometimes seeing is enough for me. But seeing photos isn't quite.
The palette for the Spring 2016 releases is a super COSified edit of pale pink, greens and blue along with blond wood and cork. The collection includes pens, decorative boxes, throws, lighting and more. Sigh.
I feel serene now. Except for I feel sad that I can't go and see this stuff. Alas, here are my favourites, based on photos alone :-p
